Why I Started Better Wellness Blueprint & Better Wellness by Nikki

I'm Nikki, and before we talk about wellness, weight loss, habits, or healthy living, I want to tell you why this website exists.
The truth is, I didn't create Better Wellness Blueprint because I've always had my health figured out.
I created it because I haven't.
At my heaviest, I weighed 456 pounds.
Twice.
The first time was in 2011.
The second time was in January of 2024.
I've experienced major weight loss. I've regained weight. I've started over more times than I'd like to admit.
And through all of it, I've learned something that changed the way I look at wellness forever:
Motivation is overrated.
Most people spend their lives waiting to feel motivated.
The problem is motivation comes and goes.
Life gets busy.
Stress happens.
Schedules change.
We get tired.
We get discouraged.
And when motivation disappears, many people end up right back where they started.
What finally changed my life wasn't motivation.
It was learning how to consistently prioritize the habits that support a healthier life.
Nutrition.
Hydration.
Movement.
Rest.
Mindset.
And following through on the promises I make to myself.
Those habits aren't flashy.
They're not exciting.
But they work.
Why Better Wellness Blueprint Exists
As I continued rebuilding my health, I realized something.
There are millions of people out there who already know what they should be doing.
The challenge isn't knowledge.
The challenge is consistency.
That's why I created Better Wellness Blueprint.
Better Wellness Blueprint is the home base for everything I'm building.
It's where you'll find free resources, wellness tools, guides, courses, coaching opportunities, my upcoming book, and future programs designed to help people create lasting wellness.
Think of Better Wellness Blueprint as the roadmap.
The place where everything comes together.
A place built around one simple idea:
Better wellness starts with consistency... of what you prioritize.

While Better Wellness Blueprint is the roadmap, Better Wellness by Nikki is the community.
It's the cool kids corner of the internet.
It's where I pull back the curtain and share the real-life details of what I'm doing on my own journey.

My Mission
My goal isn't to help people chase perfection.
My goal is to help people build a life they can actually sustain.
A life where health supports happiness instead of controlling it.
A life where wellness feels realistic.
A life where people stop starting over every Monday.
Whether you're pursuing health naturally, using a GLP-1 medication, recovering from weight loss surgery, trying to gain healthy weight, or simply looking to feel better again, I believe the foundation remains the same:
The daily choices we consistently prioritize.
Most importantly, I want this to be a place where people feel supported.

Because I've lived both lives.
I've lived in survival mode.
And I've lived through the process of rebuilding.
And if there's one thing I know for certain, it's this:
Change is possible.
